Assign thing to Things faster

I am enjoying using Things for almost a month now. Since I got it when the first private beta release, I use it everyday. Things makes GTD simpler and effective. One of my favorite feature is the Service menu. Here how it goes.

When you are reading email and your client ask you to do a task. Highlight the text that you want to convert it into Things task. Go to the App menu (top right on your monitor beside the Apple logo), go to Service, and choose Things.

Here are two option for you to choose. You may choose will it be a title or a note, i like to choose the note and make the title into single words.

Choose which one do you like, and after that Things Quick Entry Window will pop-up. In this window you can add tags, add title or note. The most important thing is that you can choose where the new task will be located.

I hope this tips will simplified your Things workflow. This method will work for every application that support the Service menu.
