Interface Update in 10.5.2
As we know, Leopard update is looose in the wild. And looks like Apple are willing to listen to their user suggestion. Many users are complaining about the stacks and translucent menu bar. These are some noticeable interface changes on Leopard 10.5.2
List View in Stack
Many users are missing the hierarcy list menu in Leopard Stack. Now Apple are bringing it back, and this are sure a nice move. I am sure a friend of mine are thrilled about the list view addition.
To enable the list view, just right click or CMD + click on the stack and choose List.

Here’s the result, a list view in Leopard, woohoo!

Grid View Background
Grid view background is update also. The previous background are using gradient, and if you have a lot of files stacked the arrow that pointed to the stack doesn’t blend well with the stack background. Now, it’s fixed.

Menu Bar
The Translucent menu bar in Leopard also a debatable feature, eye-candy freak users tend to like the translucency, but some are ranting about unable to read the text menu clearly because of the transparency (maybe they had poor sight vision).
And looks like the update has reduced the opacity level.

To make the Menu Bar opaque, go to System Preference > Desktop & Screen Saver. Uncheck this option.

Share icon
Looks like the share folder and share driver are changed into “holding hands” image, a nice metaphor which is didn’t used on any Operating System.

Do you have found any facial update in 10.5.2? Please share it.
