Leopard look on Tiger

Leopard will be coming in 3 days from now. But, you are eagerly want to tasted it before everyone else, but don’t have that early beta stage from Apple. Not to worry, we can change Tiger into the spotted cat Leopard.

You can get the feel of Leopard by using Shapeshifter to change UI theme and Candybars to changing system icons (alternative: Liteicons). Grab those two basic software and download the following package to complete transform your Tiger into Leopard look and feel.

Interface

For now you need Shapeshifter to do the magic. There are couple of GuiKit¹ theme out there who mimic Leopard in particular. To make the Dock looks like Leopard you need to hide the Dock’s background using ClearDock

• Like Leopard. The menu transparancey and dock backround has is shipped with the theme. Please read the theme instruction.
• OSX Leopard 9A527 Theme interface is very simillar to the last Leopard UI, personally this theme is a lot better than Like Leopard
• Liger is the mother of Leopard Guikit (CMWII).

Icons

Leopard icons is the enhancment of Tiger icons. Grab this icons to make your Leopard look complete.

• 130 Leopard icons » Windows Vista Desktop Customization & News » 130 Leopard Icons. The site is intendted for Windows users, so you need Pixadex to convert it to ICNS or folder icons.
• Leomx. While this pack is not try to mimic Leopard icons 100%, it still has solid Leopard feel and color theme.
• Mac OS X Cats icons 2. Susumu’s icons is very simillar to what Leopard icons look like. Grab the Cats icons 2 pakcage.

¹ GuiKit is the file type that contains theme to be used by ShapeShifter.
