Internet is just not a place too look for information anymore, it’s a place for us to hang out, chatter with our friends. Having a Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr is a necessity. We follow diggs everyday. As a Mac user there is new application than can connect those site in one application window.
Have you ever imagine an application that can control your social networks in one application windows? Updating your facebook status, viewing and uploading photos. Our uploading photos to flickr. Updating your twitter and pownce , or even just to reading digg, reddit and your RSS. Meet EventBox, an application that can do all of that.

Setting up social network can be done via EventBox Preference or just pressing the + – buttons at the bottom.

Some site like Flickr, you can comment directly from EventBox. In twitter you can reply directly to your friend message either public or private.

Please note, EventBox is still Beta. On the current release EventBox is not final, only support Digg, Reddit, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Pownce and RSS feed.

You can control what section or category that you want to watch on Digg and Reddit in the Preference. Too bad, You can’t post comment directly on Digg or Reddit at the moment.

For those who are Facebook heavy user, EventBox can be your companion for updating status and uploading photos.

Using Flickr is quite similar with Facebook. But, in Flicrk you able to comments into your friends photos. It’s very convinient, we can save times. No more opening browser just to comments on the photo. Uploading to Flickr is a bit lack of functionality. I can not choose which set the photo will be. Hoping this feature will be available on the future release.

For twitter person, EventBox can be your application of choice. With EventBox you can see your friend’s tweet, and able to respond directly publicly or privately. RIght now it’s my default twitter client.
On the other hand, Pownce user might be a bit disapointed. EventBox only able to send text message, no file upload yet. Hoping the future release will support Pownce far better.

The last feature, EventBox act as Feed Reader. It’s lacking some features, like able to mail feed or opening the site in EventBox. RIght now I can not move feeds into group folder. To rename the feed, double click the name, but don’t do it to fast.
The pros are eventbox capable to connect into social site in one window and capable to manage almost all site feature. We don’t have to visit each site just to make comments. For a Beta, EventBox is a really nice with clean interface. EventBox also very stable, I never had any Beach Ball of Death while using it for the last couple days.
The Cons are, it’s only support a few sites at the moment. According to the developers there will be support for other popular site; delicious, and last.fm.
I have two twitter account, it will be very nice if I able to log-in to twitter using different account.
EventBox price is $20, very reasonable price for an application that can do much.
