Recently the next release of Windows operating system called (officially) Windows 7 are filling over the Windows and IT blogs. There are some major improvement on the user interface, make Vista looks like just Windows XP with make-up and glasses.
Most of the user interface idea are somehow quite similar with Leopard. Here are some ideas that are similar.
In Vista gadget stuck on the right of the desktop, where in Windows 7 the gadgets can be placed freely anywhere.

New taskbar is looking good, but somehow it resemble what Tiger Dock looks like.

The blue aurora wallpaper are similar with Leopard server edition default wallpaper. If you google for leopard server you will see the similarity. Probably the default wallpaper will change in the future build, like how vista was.
When yout hit F11 or fn+F11 on your Mac, it hides any application windows and show the desktop, in Windows seven, instead hiding the windows it make the windows has 0% opacity.
Does it looks like iPhone slider or time machine slider? Look at windows geek (link at the bottom of the post) screenshot there is a slider just like you see in iPhone and Time Machine.
There are some improvement that I like. Here are some.
Now the Ribbon interface is more tidy compared to Microsoft Office ribbon menu.
Shake the windows to hide other windows. This is pretty interesting feature, and will come in handy if you want to focus on a windows at one time. To make other windows visible just shake again the windows. View the video at iStartedsomething blog.
Personally i like how the new interface design in Windows 7. It’s not the same as in Vista, adding the WiFi pop-up windows is nice touch makes selecting WiFi connection easier.
